BOOK ONE - Pragmatic Charlie Ravynne never imagined she would find herself falling in love with a house of all things let alone the deserted, dilapidated Victorian mansion she had found on the Internet. Her sister, Meg, on the other hand, was not nearly as enamored. In fact, she seriously doubted her sister's sanity when she suggests they enter the contest that offers Hensley Hall as the prize. But Meg's curiosity is
piqued when she learns that the previous owners had died in the old mansion. As a self- styled "ghost magnet", whose interest in the paranormal dated back to her childhood, she becomes more and more intrigued with the notion that Hensley Hall is haunted.
Never believing they had a chance of winning, they are both amazed when a registered letter brings the good news. They are the new owners of Hensley Hall...possible ghosts and all.
Arriving at their new home, they are horrified by the monstrous mansion that seems to be waiting for them with malevolent intent. Imprinted by old tragedies…hates…forbidden loves, and a bloated evil that fed on fear, the derelict mansion they had hoped would be their dream house some day, quickly, turns into their worst nightmare as, bit by bit, they uncover the dark history surrounding its past.

BOOK TWO -When it came to the Ravynne sisters' blighted love life, anything that could go wrong usually did. Most often it was either the wrong man…the wrong place…or the wrong time, until they, finally, decide that having a man complicate their lives just wasn't worth all the heartache. So, the last thing they are expecting is romance in any of its myriad forms, when they head to Scotland to rescue their brother, Allyn, from the clutches of his latest love interest, Orianna, who is reputed to be a Baobhan Sith…or Scottish vampire. Arriving in Glasgow, they head up into the Highlands, and find the village where Allyn is staying. Peaceful…almost idyllic at first glance, the sisters are more than a little surprised when they slam into a wall of unexplained hostility that jangles all their inner warning bells. The only friendly soul they find there is the minister, Angus McFarland, who tells them their brother has moved to the 18th century manor house restored by the mysterious Seth Marley, who became the new Laird of Blackcreag when he purchased the title along with the manor, the village, and the ancient castle haunted by the dark and tormented 15th century Highland laird, Grey MacMorley, who finds himself obsessed with Meg from the moment he first sees her.

Arriving at the enormous mansion hunkered on the cliff’s edge above the restless sea like a malevolent gargoyle, they find themselves deeply embroiled in the evil that permeates the very walls of Ravenscliffe where one of the most frightening entities they have ever encountered wants one of the Ravynne sisters dead…dead and gone so her spirit will not linger to haunt where she is unwelcome. But the very beguiling owner wants something else entirely and will do whatever it takes to achieve his end no matter the cost. That price may well be one of the Ravynne sister’s lives. |
A Ravynne Sisters Paranormal Thriller
BOOK NINE: The salt scented wind tugged at their hair, their clothing, and tossed the long grass about them in undulating waves. Overhead, gulls circled calling plaintively to each other as they rode the air currents with the sun glinting off their white wings.
It was beautiful and peaceful, both Ravynne sisters thought with an inward sigh, but neither forgot even for a moment where they were. Danger lurked in that tall grass...in the man beside them...and most of all in the ancient haunted manor with its restless dead that stood on its rise above the sea where a man scarred in both body and soul reigned.

BOOK TEN : The Ravynne sisters take another plunge down what Meg calls Alice’s ‘rabbit hole’ when they head to a village called Solomon’s Notch deep in the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains. Asked to investigate the disappearance of four young students, they arrive incognito at the Tremayne Academy for Young Ladies where they seek employment under their new identities.
Converted from the sprawling Neo-Gothic mansion built by the Copper King, Harland Tremayne, in the late 1800s, the academy was now a private school for the cast-away children of the very wealthy, and administered by the prim Mary Tremayne and her way too gorgeous (in Meg’s estimation) older brother Aidan. The sisters must tread warily in the complex web of intrigue they soon find themselves mired in as they discover what goes ‘bump in the night’ is a brand new kind of horror.

BOOK ELEVEN: Another contest. Another lucky win or does Fate have other plans for the Ravynne sisters? Is she pulling their plug or pulling their strings in a macabre dance of death? Tick Tock. The blood moon is rising and neither sister is aware that their time may be running out as they head to Lighthouse Pointe Resort in sunny California for Meg’s all expense paid vacation. It is to be the grand re-opening of the 1920s sprawling Art Deco resort steeped in darkness and so very haunted. It was there five women were brutally murdered back in the 30s, and the place shut down for more than 80 years. Determined to enjoy herself despite what she’s learned about its history, Meg soon becomes aware that the dead still linger in the abandoned lighthouse, and that the dark, aloof and mysterious guests are far more than what they seem.

A RAVYNNE SISTERS PARANORMAL THRILLER
BOOK THIRTEEN: It was dark early that time of year. An unforeseen winter storm had blown in from the west, and the early sleet had turned to ice on the mountain road the Ravynne sisters were taking home from the airport. Visibility was next to none, and an anxious Charlie was hoping to find a place to pull over and wait out the storm when oncoming headlights swept around the curve just ahead. It was a logging truck way over the center line and headed straight for them. Desperately, Charlie fought to stay out of its way, but it was hopeless. The driver made no attempt to avoid them. Instead, he forced them through the guardrail and over the side. He was close behind. Soaring over their heads...wheels still spinning...the logging truck landed in the creek bed below. Charlie's own truck flipped twice before it slid to a stop just above it. Meg was thrown from the cab in the fall and nowhere to be seen. And then Charlie found her....
There in the snowy dark lit only by the burning logger, their greatest fear found them. Something had finally come between them. Their pledge to be together forever had just been broken. Was it death or something even more horrific that claimed Meg that night, and would Charlie find a way to save her? |

He had such plans for them both. First, he would play a little game with them...test their mettle. See how they reacted to the horror he could conjure up. It all promised to be such fun. |
- A Ravynne Sisters Paranormal Thriller
BOOK FIFTEEN: One might think Fate had a dark sense of humor when it sent the Ravynne sisters to isolated Kentridge Psychiatric Asylum on a mission to save Mick Archer who had met with an accident on a ghost hunt there without his brother Gabe. Considered the most haunted facility of its kind in the country, it was founded in the mid 1800s and abandoned to its ghosts in the 1940s. It was not a healing place. Quite the contrary. It was nothing more than a disposal site for unwanted girls and women who died there and were never reclaimed…even in death. But more than ghosts roam its empty halls as Mick soon finds out when magic and madness claim him and his would be rescuers. Twists and turns take them all on a bizarre ride into the supernatural where nothing is quite what it seems. |

Skye Wilder Paranormal Mystery/Romance
Everyone wondered who she was and where she came from when Jake and his grandfather, Martin Tall Bear, brought the little girl to the sheriff's office in the tiny Appalachian town called Relief. She had been found sitting on a rock in the middle of a river way up in high country. Clearly in shock, she was unable to answer their questions as she stared vacantly ahead and hummed a tune that seemed to comfort her.
The next day, the sheriff and his men retraced her trail and found something so horrific they conspired to keep it a secret. The sheriff decides the best thing to do is place the little girl Jake named Skye in the care of his daughter-in-law, Annie, in hopes that by having another child to nurture she would come to accept her own tragic loss...the accidental death of both her husband and young son.
As the weeks tick by, Skye begins to recover physically though she has no memory of the past except in her nightmares. With no one her own age to play with in the remote mountains, she invents an imaginary friend...or so Annie thinks...until she discovers that her new playmate is her dead son, Jesse...

Just before graduation while still under her grandmother’s guardianship, she receives a letter summoning her to Sea Cliffe House to oversee her care. Though supposedly an invalid now, Skye is all too aware that she had killed before and might well be planning her own demise. Despite the risk, she decides to comply in hopes of finding proof of her crimes and justice for the dead.
When she arrives at the sprawling, seaside house with its widow’s walk and distant lighthouse view, she feels like she had just stepped between the pages of a Gothic thriller. Was she strong enough now to survive the profound evil that waited for her within its walls? It was a question she asked herself again and again hoping… rather desperately…the answer was ‘yes’.

It seemed to Mersea Jones that everyone she ever cared about abandoned her from an early age starting with her mother when she was just eight years old. To protect herself, she began to build a wall around her heart…brick by brick…year by year hoping it would protect her from the pain of loss. It was the death of her best friend that laid the final one. She had seen her through all the rough patches she’d experienced growing up in a bizarre household populated by cats and her Aunt Merabelle with her many eccentricities.
Honoring her request to have her ashes scattered off the lighthouse on Lingermere Island, she packs up and heads that way. Soon after she arrives, she is warned that the new owner of the ruined lighthouse is dangerous but is determined to keep her promise at all cost. All would have gone smoothly if she hadn’t bumped into the very one she’d been told to avoid….the tall, darkly handsome recluse the locals called the Devil of Black Rock Point and with good reason as she would soon find out. |
She was only a newborn when she was left on the kitchen steps of the orphanage one blustery winter morning. A tiny white kitten shared her wicker basket. Due to the tiny rose shaped birthmark she found on her shoulder, the Scottish cook named her Rose Winter. It was the Matron who reported it was Satan’s thumbprint and took pleasure in punishing her for the slightest offences. Locked in a cage in the cellar, she found friends among the dead who still lingered in the converted manor house. She was only ten when she ran away with her cat upon learning of Matron’s plan to send her to a work camp. Lost and afraid, she came upon a Roma clan that took them both into their hearts. As the years passed, the woman she came to know as Granny decided it was time to tell her fortune. One that revealed her life path would take her beyond their protection to a dark place of horrors where danger, love, and death awaited her. That day came when she and her cat stumbled upon the ancestral home of the Montcliffes.

JODIE SHIELD MODERN GOTHIC MYSTERIES
The year was 1888 and the Morning Star was on her maiden voyage when she foundered and sank in a ferocious storm near a village that came to be called Courage Cove. The owner of the shipping line, Horace Grey, was on board with his family. His infant son drowned, and his body was never recovered, so he built the house he called Greystone near where the tragedy occurred and often walked along the shore calling his son’s name in hopes he would return from the sea. Tragedy followed tragedy within its walls as the years passed, and those that died there lingered including a malevolent, powerful entity.
It had been vacant for decades when Jodie Shield was shown the property by a local Realtor. She had come to Courage Cove with her black cat Cinda to find her mother’s roots for a biography she had promised to write and doesn’t understand why she is attracted to the rambling, derelict mansion. She only knows she needs to be there for some inexplicable reason, so she buys it and begins the restoration even though warned by a friend she was ‘waking the devil’. Soon after she moves in, someone else’s dreams and memories find her...those of a young Millie Grey who died there more than a century before…and the horror begins. |
Built by eccentric Professor Theo Tremaine in the early 1900s, Tremaine house was described as a sprawling Victorian monstrosity sandwiched between the Atlantic shore and a salt marsh. Its reputation for being haunted was well known, so the present owner Ron…a childhood friend who had never set foot in the place… asked that Simon determine the validity of such claims. As things stood, a sale was highly unlikely unless the haunting was disproved or the house cleansed, and Ron was desperately in need of funds to save a failing business. Simon agreed to spend the night and do a full investigation. When Jodie failed to talk him out of it, she very reluctantly insisted she accompany him. She didn’t want him there without her after the horrors they had both experienced in the past. They were to get an early start the next day, but when Jodie awoke the next morning, she found a note propped up against the toaster. It’s all down the ‘rabbit hole’ from there, as Jodie sets out to save Simon when his call from inside the mansion ends in a sudden, ominous silence.
